“Much like any other child, Jaren has a story. He and I were life watched to Wichita on his birthday 17 years ago. He was born almost 4 months early at just 24 weeks. He weighed a mere 1 lb 13 oz and was on life support for the first two months of his life. His lungs, along with all of the other organs in his body, were underdeveloped and although he tried breathing on his own he just wasn’t able to. To make a long story shorter, I was able to stay with him at the Ronald McDonald house in Wichita and he met all criteria to come home nearly 3 months after his early arrival.

 

Through it all he overcame the odds against him and we are truly blessed to have his presence today. He is a true  fighter and a real miracle in my eyes. Julisa worked with us to incorporate our farm into his pictures and they turned out remarkable. Jaren’s senior pictures capture him where his heart will always be; with the flat country roads, fields of gold, a friendly guard dog, and big, loud trucks. She is a master of her craft and I appreciate the effort it took to make the trip for these special pictures. We will forever cherish them knowing that he overcame the struggles that were upon him and is now the handsome farm boy miracle we love!"
